Along with medication, Parent Management Training (PMT) is the only empirically supported treatment for the behavioral problems associated with ADHD. PMT is effective in reducing parent-child conflict, defiant behavior and disruptive behavior associated with ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, and Autistic Spectrum Disorders.
